Great book!

This is a a great book that will pull you right in from the very first page. Like the first book in the series, it is full of twists and turns and surprises. It's a very entertaining book and a great premise. The powers are very interesting and a great concept. The author has a lot of imagination. I definitely recommend this one.

Lots of interesting statistics for MMA buffs

Disclosure: I personally know the author as a fellow academic. The author is a full professor at Fordham University and a household name among academicians in the areas of pricing and services marketing. He is a prolific researcher who became a tenured professor at the age of 32 and is currently the editor of the top journal in financial services marketing. I am mentioning this to highlight the authors' credibility in applying statistical analysis to the area of MMA.

The book presents plenty of interesting facts and statistics regarding the impact of various factors on the fight outcome -- things like age, height, reach, etc. How much more likely is a fighter to win if he fights in his hometown? What are the most common types of injuries, and how do they change with age? Etc.

One of the most interesting chapters to me was the one where he talks about a statistical model to predict the fight outcome. This model predicts the outcome correctly in 64% of cases. The model is not predictive enough to make money gambling (and if it did bookies would quickly later the odds anyhow), but it is fascinating reading.

About the Author
Mike Joseph was born in 1944 to a strict Biblically oriented Orthodox Jewish family in British Aden Yemen. In 1949 his entire family moved to Israel, after a local Arab Pogrom took the lives of his mother and three young brothers. In 1963 the author moved to Paris, France to study French and work in the Fashion industry. In late 1965 the author moved to New York where, about four years later, a change in his religious convictions led him to a community practicing both the Old and New Testament teachings and laws of the Bible. From 1970 to 1975 the author served on the faculty of a local private college in Pasadena, California - teaching both modern and Biblical Hebrew to both students and ministers on Sabbatical year. At the same time, the author attended classes and graduated with a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts - with a major in Theology. After graduation in 1975 and later ordination, Mr. Joseph began his service in the Field Ministry in the local Pasadena area congregations. Through the years, Mr. Joseph has published and written four books and dozens of articles about Biblical, historic, and various subjects in human relationships. The author is a frequent guest speaker on several Radio Talk shows, both in the United States and other countries, as well as a guest speaker in several conventions. He presently attends in a local congregation in the West valley area of San Fernando Valley, California. Atheism is Really the topic Here!

This book has to do more about the author's atheism than the Temple Mount. He denies the after life and the immortal soul. No G-d means no afterlife and a Holy Temple that is not holy at all.
Sad to see this guy misinterpret the teachings of Judaism and the factual archaeolgy that confirms that the Jewish Temple did stand at the present location.

Diana Cooper is a traveling speaker on such topics as metaphysics, spiritual law, angels, and Atlantis. Excellent

At first this book scared me because I had never read anything like it before. So, I let it sit for a few weeks. I do consider myself a spiritual individual. If you would like to learn more about angels, this is not the book to start with in the beginning. There was a lot I did not understand because I had not read any of Diane Cooper's previous writings which were over ten. This is a more advanced version for those who have read some of her earlier works. She names angles and speaks of colors of light of the chakras, which I had never pursued in depth. I am in the process of reading some of her books from the later 90's now as she explains how she evolved with angels and became to understand the messages she recieved from the angels as she grew in spirituality with them. I have captured many orbs and strange lights on my digital camera. I thought perhaps this book could shed some light on what these images mean. It did, but I want to grow with angels as the angels lead me to this knowledge. It is a definate read if you are on the path of the new age of enlightment which is occurring now in the world, now more than ever before. Many ,many angels are with us trying to help us whether we understand or know it. They are leading us to an era on Earth of which we have been before in the past and have lost contact with thru the ages.

Highly recommended, invaluable!

For those interested in obtaining ascension this is an extremely useful, perhaps essential book, unless you are receiving help elsewhere.

It is packed with information about the angels, the orbs, the 12 chakras, the ascended masters, etc etc that would be difficult to obtain elsewhere. The astounding and astoundingly beautiful orb photos will give you a valuable boost in your ascension process, if you spend time gazing at them. For example, 1) you receive a clearance of your consciousness that will enable you to move out of your limited space onto an ascension path 2) you receive a downloading of ancient universal wisdom 3) you will receive healing and a desire to bring oneness to the world 4) you receive a sense of the vastness of the universe and can help humanity ascend 5) you receive freedom to move into an expanded life 6) you will receive an acceleration of your ascension. And much more, there being in all 48 orb photos.

The book includes innumerable inspiring meditations. This is a book that I would have liked to award many more than 5 stars, if that had been possible.

I've put the book on my wish list together with the accompanying CD "Ascension through orbs meditations" and Diana Cooper's orb cards. Highly recommended, invaluable!
