Great textbook!

I used this book for an African history class at Eastern Kentucky University. This book was very easy and fast to read as well as enjoyable, something I'm sure I've never said about a textbook before. Bravo Khapoya on making learning feel worth my time!
As far as book content, this book has so many great chapters on Africa's history. It is broad but has examples that pertain to the individual countries. Khapoya gives a broad knowledge base of the specific topics and informs the reader to study further on certain countries for more explanation. By providing a broad sense of the issues in Africa, the material made reading and comprehending better unlike how some authors get too in depth with an example or certain situation and creates an ambiguity on the entire subject, leaving the reader confused.
Would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn general and informative history on Africa.
