From the Author
When we finally took the plunge to pursue our dreams of writing a novel, we knew we had to come up with something truly unique to write about. We had been in love with the young adult and teen fiction genre for a long time. We also knew that we wanted to write a book that has a paranormal twist, yet not one that would include the usual vampires or werewolves. (Not saying we aren't total suckers for reading those kind of books, we love them! We just wanted to write something unique and untouched on.)  That's when we ran across the legend of The Night Marchers. We had never heard of this legend before and we instantly became engrossed in it. After lots of research on these spirit warriors, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii and finding some interesting tidbits about another Hawaiian legend: the Menehune's, we new exactly what we wanted to write about. 
Much like Emma Townsend's coming of age story, we felt like Night Marchers Series was a coming of age story of our own as writers. We knew nothing about publishing, cover making, building a fan base or anything. The support we received in the Indie community was overwhelming. The fan feedback was more than we could have ever hoped for.  
    We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read our books and experience with us, the magical worlds that surrounds them. To have our imaginations brought to life on paper is truly a dream come true. Thank you!
In addition, we would like to thank everyone who has given us feedback on our books. We hope that you enjoy this sequel to our first book, Night Marchers. About the Author
Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckels are down home country girls powered by chocolate and other random late night cravings. Coined in southern twang, they bring new meaning to the word y'all. BFI's since the 6th grade, with a knack for getting into sticky situations, has resulted in countless ideas to write about for years to come. 
Rebecca and Courtney co-authored their first book, a young adult paranormal romance: Night Marchers in October 2011. They released their second book in The Night Marchers Series:Redemption, in February 2012. Since then they have gone on to write a new young adult apocalyptic series called The ELE Series. Currently there are three books published in The ELE Series: Project ELE, Finding ELE and Exposing ELE. They are in the process of writing the fourth book in the series at this time. 
When not writing, Rebecca and Courtney spend time in their Texas homes with their families and their oversized dogs who still think they are puppies.

Amazing, just like the first.

Now for the really important part....

It opened my eyes to a new world (which is no easy task) and for me, the story was unique. So did `Redemption' capture my heart and soul like the first book? The answer is simple... Yes!

Night Marchers Book 2 - The Follow Up You Don't Want To Miss!

Redemption is the 2nd book in the Night Marchers series and is a YA book that takes the beautiful island of Hawaii and explores some of the darker paranormal history about it.

As with the first book the story continues to be told through the eyes of the teenage Emma and her struggles with dealing with the paranormal as well as trying to balance all the normal things a teenager has to deal with.

I felt this book took a much more serious turn than the first, which considering how the first one ended was to be expected, and I will confess to being moved to tears on more than one occassion.

I love the attention to detail in what is almost another world and even though it is aimed at a YA audience I couldn't put it down. I have already suggested my own teenage daughter read them!

Overall a well written book and like the first it is definitely deserving of a place in any YA reader's collection. V""V

Sherry R. Gordon is President of Value Chain Group, a supply management and performance excellence consultancy. She is a pioneer in enterprise measurement and process improvement techniques. After the acquisition of her previous company, Valuedge, she became Vice President, Supplier Performance at Emptoris, a leading provider of enterprise supply management software solutions. The Valuedge supplier assessment software became part of Emptoris software suite. This book includes everything you'll need to know from a strategic and tactical point of view, that if followed will surely eliminate a majority of supplier issues. The book is easy to understand and provides you with thought provoking questions that you need to consider when developing or improving a supplier performance management program.

The book also provides you with some very useful resources that include:

A "recipe" for success ......

Through the years Supplier Performance Management has been much talked about but in reality few organizations have implemented a program which delivered meaningful reports and sustainable results. I remember in the late 1970's, when I was a young Quality Auditor at The Gates Rubber Co. I responsible for "Raw Material" quality and put in place a manual process and reporting system to look at acceptable material lots, timely delivery and prompt customer service that was marginally effective, not scaleable beyond a single site and only supported production materials. Thirty years later not much has changed albeit the introduction of technology that has potentially accelerated the delivery of meaningless and unactionable data ... until now.

Sherry Gordon has written the first comprehensive guide for organizations to develop and implement a Supplier Evaluation and Performance Excellence program (hence the book title)that really works. She's produced a masterful "recipe" for success.

A Comprehensive, Step-by-step Primer for Evaluating and Managing Suppliers

Ms.Gordon has done an excellent job of providing an interesting and readable, step-by-step analysis of what it takes to properly evaluate suppliers and drive them to perform optimally. She has certainly met her goal of providing a book "to help guide firms in this journey." She starts out by telling us how to sell the Supplier Performance Management initiative and then takes us through every step including what a customer company must do to obtain optimum value from this effort. She makes it very clear that this is a process, not a project or an event. One must understand this going in or be destined to fail. I wish I had this book to read years ago, but in reading it I find it validated what I had to learn through years of working the process.

Everything you need to know about making yogurt & then some!

The Yogurt Bible will show you step by step how to make your own yogurt from scratch using a variety of methods including a heating pad, crock pot, yogurt maker and your low temperature oven. It also includes directions for using several different types of milk besides traditional cow milk. You will also find recipes for syrups and toppings for yogurts as well as different flavors of yogurts.

The Yogurt Bible includes a section on healthy body systems that breaks down what each body system does (cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, immune, musculoskeletal, nervous and respiratory). It tells you what you what disorders affect each system and what the best and worst foods are for each system. This chapter even explains what stress management techniques work best and what exercises you should focus on. There is a chart in each section that tells you the top 10 best bets for each and what foods protect each system and why. I love this section. I have it bookmarked for frequent reference.

Equally fantastic is the chapter on whole foods that explains why whole foods are necessary for good health and then details a huge list of whole foods, what they help with, how they work to provide good health, how you can buy and store them and their culinary uses. It includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole and ancient grains, nuts and seeds, sea vegetables and even herbs!

The final section of the book includes recipes you can make using yogurt. You'll be amazed at the selection which includes Dips, Spreads, Snacks and Starters; Soups; Salads and Dressings; Mains; Sauces; Desserts and Frozen Yogurts; and Beverages. I love the recipe selection!

Not quite what the title suggests

This is a good book, don't get me wrong, but I was looking for a book on making yogurt, not recipes for using yogurt. The title suggests this would be 'everything there is to know about yogurt' and there isn't even a substantial trouble-shooting section. In fact, the chapter on making yogurt is barely a few pages and the rest of the book is dedicated to recipes. I'm keeping it, but I really think the title is misleading.

This wonderful book provides a compelling narrative of the historical and philosophical roots of inclusive education and contextualizes that history in a framework of social justice and critical pedagogy. Part 1 provides a historical perspective on exceptionality, including a nice chapter describing conceptions of exceptionality during biblical times and additional chapters focusing on legal developments and the genesis of exceptionality as a legitimate academic discipline. Part 2 begins with an overview of Western philosophical thought and its various connections to the study of exceptionality. Two important chapters focus on the study of exceptionality within a framework of social justice and the author's recommendations for utilizing that framework to advance the discipline and improve practice. Curiously, Shyman (Dowling College) makes only brief mention of how critical theory has been and continues to be employed in the theoretical study of exceptionality as well as applied innovations to improve practice. Readers would benefit from some foundational knowledge of critical theory concepts such as hegemony and the hidden curriculum. Overall, this is a wonderful book of great value to scholars of exceptionality as well as advanced practitioners. Summing Up: Recommended. a kinder, gentler feminism

Feminist takes on how women lost power usually have an angry edge. Carol Lee Flinders' book covers some of the same ground, but her point of view is reflective and spiritual. She believes, as many of us do, that we need the strengths of both men and women to make our world work, and that each of us needs the parts of ourselves that we might have suppressed because they weren't feminine, or masculine, enough.

This isn't a scientific treatise, and Flinders doesn't attempt to prove things so much as offer new ways of looking at where we are, and where we might go from here.
